Think Your Sly?

Sneak is a romance/drama. Latoya Simpson is in love with her childhood sweetheart Shane Michael but when she discovers her best friends been sleeping with her boyfriend she seeks revenge.

The film is set in a estate house despite the girls looking posh they don't have a lot of money to life the luxury lifestyle the dream of having.

Sneak is a romance/drama. Latoya Simpson is in love with her childhood sweetheart Shane Michael but when she discovers her best friends been sleeping with her boyfriend she seeks revenge.
This film is the same as "The other woman" as its both about cheating.
This film is appealed for 14-25 year old.

Even though the trailer is just over a minute long you can tell that movie was set in a place where the bad guy could easily kidnap Bruce willis's daughter,If you really get into the trailer and the blurb on what the films about you could infer that it was planned.

Why:
I choose precious because it looked interesting and there would be loads to write about e.g her upbringing,Family ,Education ect.

Institutional background:
There are several production companies but the main one is lionsgate but the other two are lee Daniels entertainment and also smokewood entertainment.
The UK distributor was Icon film distribution.   


No brand loyalty:
Precious comes under the genre of Drama. 
No precious isn't sequel Movie but Lee Daniels has made other films such as The butler,The paper boy and also shadowboxer.
Gabourey sidibe one of the main characters has also been known for playing a part in several movies such as Tower Heist,White bird in the bizzard and also seven psychopaths.

Precious first got released in the UK on the 29th January 2010.

The characters in this movie are not the the of people you would expect to be in a romantic comedy  movie for example nicki minaj you would think that she isn't the type to be in a movie.
The female characters all seem to have a wealthy lifestyle.

The movie is set in a rich part of america which links the the characters because they are all wealthy and live a glamorous lifestyle.

after their home was invaded by satanic cultists.

The characters in this movie are typical characters that you would see in any other horror movie.
The two main characters are scared,worried,confused.
The doll is scary,possessed&Has a human image.

There is plenty of iconography typical of the horror genre.
There was Suspense,Tension,blood also sound effects all of these our in connection of what a horror would usually include so we can surely say its a horror.

Settings
Even though the trailer is only 3 minutes you can gather by the storyline and trailer that the main location is set in the couples house.

 Target audience 

Typography.

This picture above shows a scene of the officers from the film 'Minority Report'.
it is a medium close up this shot type allows the viewers to see the emotion on there faces
in this picture you can see the fear as well as anger in the officers faces.
As well as just seeing the officers you can see a little bit of background which gives the viewers some type of incite into where the scene is set.

This picture above shows a scene of a crash the wide shot type allows the viewers  to see the location and the damage the car has.
The purpose of using a wide shot is so that the viewers can see everything that is going on around the main subject .
Why is it dark ? maybe because they are somewhere that the shouldn't be that usually causes the viewers the be let confused and wanting the carry on watching the film so they can see what happens next.

The picture above shows the main character in a close up shot.
the close up shot was used so that the audience could see the expression on his face, the expression show is confusedness and maybe guilt. 

I used a medium shot for this pictures because that way we could fit a bit of background in the picture.

I used a close up for this picture because it shows emotion. 

I  used a wide shot as you could see everything that's around and it gives an idea of where the scene was shot.

For this picture i used another medium shot because you can see how the waist looks and you can see the impact of the punch on the upper body.

I used at establishing shot for this picture as it shows the height and width but also it sets the scene.

I used a long show for this picture to show the damage to him body from the fall.

The key convention that tells the audience this is a advert by adidas is by the logo on the bottom right of the picture. The slogan on the middle left "every team needs the spark" Also tells the audience that every team needs like a chance to shine.
The key image on the advert is of a footballer with the ball at his feet the slogan describes the picture because its basically is trying to say that not only his team but everybody else's needs a boost.
the layout with this picture is messie a real Madrid football player going over the opponents leg with the ball at his feet preferably trying to score a goal  then it has all the fans in the far background with a spark at his back foot.On the far top left it has a picture of messie in a dark effect staring across the advert.

Institution:The major institution of this advert would be adidas as they did design the advert And as adidas is a huge brand the advert is properly giving hints as to buying there products E.g. there football boats.If a campus footballer has there branded football boats on his feet more people might buy it because someone famous is wearing the same product.

Audience;I think that this advert is aimed at  16-30 year old male however it could also be targeted at parents as young kids would see messie in the product and want it so as kids can not buy the product themselves it would be aimed at parents of young children.
It could also be aimed at females who are interested in the product or even something else by adidas.

Representation;The representation for this advert is white male which might give us a clue into thinking who the target audience is.This is very surprising as there are extremely good women football players and even very good multi racial football players.

 TV NEWS RESEARCH 

I decided to pick itv news because even though it isn't the first biggest news channel it is the second largest and you still get the information that you would on any other news channel no matter how big or small the company is its self.

Itv news comes on everyday at these specific times 13:30-13:40,18:30-19:00 and also 22:00-22:40

Depending on the times you have different presenters so for itv lunch time news your two main presenters would be Alastair Stewart and Nina Hossain After that would be the 18:30-19:00 so you would have Alastair Stewart and Mary nightingale Finally you have the ten o'clock News which Julie Etchingham And Mark Austin.

The Channels news coverage has won awards from the royal television society they have won the Emmy awards and also BAFTA.

Between 2004-2008 the itv evening news held the title of the "RTS News programme of the year"

The flagship itv news at 10 also has won  numerous BAFTA awards most recent in June 2010.

I think Itv news is aimed at ages 13 upwords because it discusses things that teenagers should be aware of eg dangers or even health hazards.

One of the main news story that i think got everyone suprised was that kate and William are having there second baby i think that its a good topic because they are very known in the media. 

Another good one is a young girl by the name of alice gross has gone missing i think it is also a good news story because it aware's not just young people but older people aswell that there are crazy people in this world and also if anyone has seen her or knows any information it could get her home faster. 

The last one that i think is very important is the uk sending iraq gift packages including heavy machine guns it will defiantly leave people confused as to why the uk are doing this.
